Day 1 covers what the auditor checks and how to support costs, day 2 covers donor reporting, risks and getting ready for the audit. It is led by MK Audit auditors and accountants who work with donor-funded projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<h2>Who it is for<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>NGO directors who sign donor reports<\/li>\n<li>Finance and grant managers<\/li>\n<li>Project accountants<\/li>\n<li>Teams with a grant audit scheduled in the coming months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Format<\/h2>\n<p>2 days, 4 hours a day, online in Zoom or in person in Kyiv, with participants\u2019 cases<\/p>\n<h2>Programme<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Day 1: engagement types, audits under ISA 800 and ISA 805, ISRS 4400 agreed-upon procedures, EU, UN and GIZ requirements<\/li>\n<li>Day 1: cost eligibility under the grant agreement and budget<\/li>\n<li>Day 1: source documents, contracts, acceptance certificates, work reports, payments to sole proprietors (FOPs) and non-residents<\/li>\n<li>Day 1: procurement thresholds, comparing quotes, conflicts of interest, the procurement file; timesheets and salary allocation<\/li>\n<li>Day 2: the financial report to the donor and its reconciliation with the books<\/li>\n<li>Day 2: currency, exchange differences and VAT in a grant project<\/li>\n<li>Day 2: in-kind contributions, co-financing, sub-grants and the lead partner\u2019s responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Day 2: typical audit findings, responding to a management letter, readiness checklist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>After the training you will be able to<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>identify the type of engagement your grant agreement requires and what follows from it<\/li>\n<li>put together a procurement file and source documents that meet the donor\u2019s rules<\/li>\n<li>reconcile the donor financial report with the books and explain differences<\/li>\n<li>draft responses to points raised in a management letter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How pre-registration works<\/h2>\n<p>Leave a request in the form below.
